2) Is there anything this bad boy CAN'T do? If no, then why are we not worshiping them yet?

Hmm, i'll be darned, i can still type. Amazing. You ask "WTFOMGBBQ MUHV U SUXXORS Y U NO WRIT BLOG?!" and i answer "bugger of, newb".
Me? Apart from having a life, I've picked up Assassin's Creed. Jolly game indeed. The poor blokes who made Princes of Persia would be really, REALLY sad if someone else, other than themselves would've made this game.
Since i'm a not a freak, i only game on the PC. So, here's a review of sorts on the PC version... do NOT expect much, however.
Believe it or not, but 2 days before picking up this game, i completed the Princes of Persia. Just for the fun of it... and glad to see that they fixed most of the stuff that annoyed me for AC.
Now, i know it's a different game and whatnot, but let's face it: same shit all over again: shiny combat where you don't have to do anything, climbing on in, on, over, next to, under, around buildings and shit. And finally, the fabled "storytelling" mode again.
Not that there's anything wrong with it. In all honesty, however, they missed one crucial point: The bloody gameplay. As i said, the game's awesome and seems sandboxy.. but it actually is very, very linear(bet ya didn't see that one coming. Yes, i contradict myself, so what?). Same shit all over again, but shiny missions(there are 4 different ones) make you feel like it's something new. Gets old really fast. Fun for the first couple of times.. and then you won't even notice it.
Most of us, however, play it for the face-stabbing part. Gotta admit, it is indeed very, very awesome. There could be slight trouble with targeting, but in the end, the hidden blade will find the face(neck, ribs, back..you decide). Oh and did I mention it being totally pleasurable? Well, it is. But for hardcore people, I still reccommend sex.
ZP has pretty much covered it, though. It said everything there is to say about the game.. well, except that there are tons and bloody tons of little graphical glitches(atleast with dx9), but other than that, the game behaves well.
I'd say it's one of those games you just have to try. Not complete, but try it, atleast.
Oh and it's almost impossible to exit the game. There are just too many steps you have to take for that. Maybe they're trying to give you time to reconsider...

Other than AC, i've been real artsy and trying my hand with Inkscape and Photoshop. Gotta admit, I was kind of expecting the image creation and manipulation to be more.. challenging. Well, at least it keeps me amused..
for now.
Oh and Inkscape isn't difficult to use at all. You just have to have some caffeine in your system when first starting to mess with the 'gram.
